I have successfully run external monitors on my older macbooks with bootcamp but they were all Thunderbolt 2 only. I am not crazy for their interfaces and would like to at least trial the windows based ones to see if they are better. However it is completely useless if my 'monitor' blanks out every 60 or so seconds.įor those who will mention Wirecast or OBS as an option, I have tried it both. I use my macs as part of my livestreaming system because monitors do not to be converted to work with my ATEM switchers and I am hoping to harness the power of my Imac Pro to run replays at sporting events. ready to give up, anyone who has successfully done this please let me know how you got it to work! I am able to get the T-Bolt 3 ports to work with a Black Magic Mini Recorder which plugs in via a thunderbolt3 to thunderbolt 2 adaptor. The monitor is fails with multiple TB3/USB3 adaptors.ĭownloading the bootcamp drivers directly from AMDĭownloading the Drivers from I am trying to get atleast 1 external monitor working in my windows ten bootcamp running currently I can get one monitor running for 30-60 seconds, then it will disconnect, then reconnect and repeats the process.
